A holiday home for two people in Pillnitz palace park

Trompeterhaus (Trumpeter's house) is located in the south western corner of the palace park, has a floor space of 46 m2 and consists of a ground floor where the utilities and garden furniture are located.

The upper floor has a useable area of approx. 40 m2 and is reached via an outside staircase. On it there is a living room / bedroom, a stove oven and an open kitchen, a small corridor and a bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with sufficient kitchenware and appliances.

The house has neither a telephone connection nor a television, making it an ideal place to relax in. Literature, maps and suggestions for excursions in the area as well as games are available. You can also obtain information about excursions from the visitor's information centre during working hours.

The holiday house is most suitable for a maximum of two people.

Cars can only drive up to the holiday house when arriving or departing. Your car will be given a reserved parking place in the entrance area of the park.

Smoking is not allowed in the house. If you are a smoker, please use the outside area.

The palace park is closed at sunset and then reopened around 05:00. You will be given a key to the gates in the direction of Elbweg, in addition to the house keys. This road will lead you to the nearby ferries. This road may only be used when the park is closed.

Arrival

You can reach the Pillnitz Palace and Park by car from the Dresden-Hellerau Dresden Old Town or Pirna motorway exits. Follow the signs in the direction of Pillnitz.

Pillnitz has a good infrastructure and is well connected to the city centre, around 15 km away, by bus line 83, Elb ferry/Tram line 1 and steam ship.

"Das Blaue Wunder" bridge and Körner- and Schillerplatz is around 7 km away and can be reached by bicycle via the Elbe bicycle path.

The rental price includes bed linen and hand towels as well as the costs for heating, wood, water and electricity.
