Pillnitz Palace is located on the eastern edge of Dresden. The closest public transport stops are: Pillnitz Platz Further and up-to-date information on arriving by bus and train can be found on the Dresden Transport Association's internet site.

- A limited number of disabled parking spaces are available at the ferry pier
Visitors Guideline
Dear Visitor,
The Pillnitz Palace and Park ensemble is an architectural and horticultural memorial.
In order to preserve them for future visitors, please follow the guidelines below:
The Palace Park is open daily from 05:00 a.m. until sunset. Visitors are responsible for their own safety in the Zwinger and park. As far as is legally permissible, we accept no liability for damages. The public are not permitted to use routes that have not been cleared or gritted. Parents are responsible for their children.
Visitors may not under any circumstances:
- leave the paths and step on the green areas
- use any kind of vehicle on the paths except children's pushchairs or wheelchairs
- damage, remove from their locations or spoil the facilities, buildings, other park equipment or plants
- play ballgames, to ride horses, fish, toboggan or ski in the park
- allow dogs to run free or on retractable leads
- bathe in the ponds or fountains or allow animals to bathe
- play live or recorded music without written permission from the proprietor
- carry out trade, advertising, collections or any other special activity without the written permission of the proprietor
- use bbqs or light fireworks without permission from the proprietor
- camp or stay overnight
- take photographs or make films for commercial use without written permission from the proprietor
Anyone contravening these regulations may be turned out of the Pillnitz Palace and Park or given a ban from entering it in the future. Any cases of misuse will be prosecuted. Any punishable acts will be prosecuted.
